This website draws information from a variety of government and private sources to generate a comprehensive database of upcoming and ongoing clinical studies and trials, as well a other health related information. The data is searchable under many criteria and in multiple languages and provides comprehensive notifications to subscribers. The website supports a responsive design.
Our client initially wanted to move an existing website from an Ektron CMS to Sitecore XP. AccessECM migrated the existing website and rewrote all the logic to support the new Sitecore environment. During the second phase, AccessECM added variety of improvements including:
- Optimization of data collection algorithms that aggregate information from multiple databases resulting in near real-time delivery of trial information to potential patients. This is a significant competitive advantage for our customer.
- Introduced site-wide optimizations that improved SEO ranking and competitive positioning in search engines.
- Incorporated multi-language support with real-time translation to expand reach to non-English users. This was accomplished by leveraging the Bing Translator APIs.
- Enhanced localization and visualization through integration with Google Maps.
The project utilized a team of 3 software and 1 QA engineer. Agile software development methodology had been used with the close day-to-day collaboration with the stakeholders.
